This 2000 word crackfic was written a while back, and posted on 3_or_4_part harmony. I can't remember the question or challenge that inspired it...might have been the idea of a H/multi story where Hermione wasn't the first/primary wife. I've tweaked and polished it a bit for this posting.
By the way, not identifying who that first wife is was purely intentional. Feel free to fill in the blank with anyone except Ginny...who doesn't qualify, based on the clues.

Well, "Not Ginny" is Daphne, the fanon version of whom does fit pretty well.
